Prior to moving to New York City, Jonathan Cohen attended law school at the University of Washington where he received his J.D. in 1991. After practicing for five years, he moved to New York City where he has been a dedicated advocate for small business owners, tenants, and landlords ever since. In his nearly 20 years of practice, he has proven himself to be an expert in landlord-tenant work, commercial leases, title disputes, foreclosure mediation, cooperatives and condominiums, and creditors rights.

Jon Cohen has been a member of the New York Bar since 1999. His passion for supporting small business owners, landlords, and tenants stems from his appreciation of and love for the city of New York. He represents clients all throughout New York City in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Over the course of his career, he has conducted countless trials in supreme and civil courts, made several court appearances in five boroughs, drafted on behalf of colleagues, and successfully negotiated foreclosure and mortgage modifications.
